RED Global is seeking an Automation Test Engineer (Python) to join the QA team for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions in an Agile environment. The role requires strong experience in Python and Robot Framework, with the ability to build and sustain automated test suites.

This 12-month remote contract from Italy involves API testing of REST/JSON, CI/CD integration, and collaboration across development and QA to improve coverage and quality.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing, with significant exposure to test automation.
• Experience with software development or test automation.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with or willingness to work with Robot Framework.
• Good knowledge of Python, including scripting and automation concepts, to develop and maintain Robot Framework test suites and custom libraries.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP) and tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or similar).
• Experience working with test automation frameworks or the willingness to learn them.

We are looking for a Automation Test Engineer to join the QA team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, Python, and software testing principles, with the ability to develop and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework. You will work closely with development and QA teams within an Agile environment, helping to improve test coverage, quality, and automation efficiency.
