Xylem is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for our R&D Center of Excellence in Montecchio Maggiore (VI). You will design and implement automated tests, develop test scripts, and collaborate with development teams to ensure product quality.

The role emphasizes automation frameworks, new tools, and process improvements within a hybrid work model. Required are a Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering, 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware and application development, and fluency in English

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with embedded firmware and application development.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and regression pipeline management.
• Familiarity with Jira (including RTM plugin), Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of signal processing and communication protocols.
• Strong ability to document, track, and manage project details with precision.

THE ROLE

Our R&D Center of Excellence in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will design and implement automated tests to ensure the highest standards of product quality. You will develop test scripts, analyze results, and collaborate closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
