Tesco is seeking a Night Shift Leader for Basildon Pitsea Extra to guide a team through the night shift and ensure great customer service. The role requires coordinating across store areas and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to adapt to change while delivering results. The position offers a nights-focused schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
