Responsibilities

• Administrate and manage the Teradata Data Warehouse during production, testing and development.
• Manage and monitor security and users on a large scale.
• Analyze, tune and optimize complex queries and ETL applications on large databases.
• Manage custom tools for the integration of heterogeneous sources within the Data Lake (e.g., Teradata and Hadoop), both in on-premise and cloud environments and maintenance of scripts and applications using Shell and Python for the automation of recurring processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the role as Teradata Admin.
• Strong proficiency in SQL scripting and Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU).
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and ensure operational continuity.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Nice to have : Certifications such as Teradata Certified Professional are highly valued.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Work location Bari with Smart working possibility.
