Are you a dynamic and ambitious scientist ready to make a mark in Translational Clinical Research? The AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology (IFOM) in Milan, Italy, invites applications for the position of Junior Group Leader. IFOM, established in 1998, is Italy's first research center dedicated to exploring tumor formation and progression. In 2022, IFOM expanded its mission to include the rapid translation of basic cancer research into clinical applications.

Unleash Your Potential

As a Junior Group Leader at IFOM, you will lead groundbreaking research in mechanism-based clinical trials in oncology. Your focus will include mechanistic insights, target validation, preclinical modeling, biomarker development, proof-of-concept studies, patient stratification, surrogate endpoints, adaptive trial designs, and real-world data analysis to improve trial relevance and patient care.

World-Class Resources

IFOM offers access to advanced core facilities and technologies, including genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, imaging, spatial transcriptomics, digital pathology, and animal facilities. You will work with unique datasets from clinical trials in colorectal and breast cancer.
