Manpower Professional, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Tendering Application Engineer.

We are looking for a new resource to join our Technical Office to support bid management and enhance team performance, with the goal of developing customized solutions for clients and ensuring maximum satisfaction during pre-sales.

Main Responsibilities: The resource will play a key role in bridging the needs of the commercial department with technical engineering skills, acting as a link between the two areas. They will be responsible for translating customer requests into design solutions, supporting the sales team in preparing offers, with a primarily technical focus. Main tasks include:

• Analysis of customer specifications
• Drafting technical specifications of products to fully meet customer requests
• Thermodynamic calculations for defining heat exchanger and fan characteristics (when applicable)
• Preliminary layout definition and integration into the customer's layout
• Cost estimation of the product
• Liaison with Area Managers and Customers regarding offer development, co-design activities, defining supply limits, and exploring new technical and technological solutions to overcome current technological limitations.

Reporting directly to the Technical Office Manager, the resource will interface with all company departments, especially with Area Managers and clients, to develop technical specifications and product offers for custom projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical, energy, or related fields)
• Experience: At least 2 years in developing technical and economic offers for customized products
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of heat exchange theory, algorithms, and calculation tools for airflow and thermodynamics; familiarity with heat exchangers and the related market (preferably for vehicular and industrial applications); experience with 3D modeling for preliminary layout studies (knowledge of CAD software is a plus); awareness of EU directives/regulations regarding heat exchangers and fans; understanding of technical standards related to these components; basic knowledge of structural analysis (FEM/FEA methods are a plus); basic knowledge of fluid dynamics analysis (CFD methods are a plus).

Additional Skills: Experience as a mechanical designer and/or project engineer/leader is appreciated; strong communication skills, especially in client interactions and cultural awareness; team-oriented approach and mediation skills; fluent English (part of the interview will be conducted in English).
