A leading global provider of genomic services is seeking a full-time Commercial Specialist in Verona. This collaborative role focuses on monitoring procurement platforms, managing tenders, and supporting logistics and accounts receivable. Ideal candidates will have a business-related degree and relevant experience in biotech or medical devices, alongside strong organizational and communication skills.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Commercial Specialist in the EU, reporting to the Business Operations Department. This role is highly collaborative and requires drive and excellent time management skills. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver activities to support business growth.
Job Description :
E-commerce Platform and Document Management : Regularly monitor multiple electronic procurement platforms (e.g., Mepa) to stay updated on procurement notices and requirements. Download necessary documents from suppliers, fill them out according to project requirements, and ensure all information is accurate and compliant. Upload completed documents timely following specified procedures. Review and update relevant business documents regularly to maintain the latest versions for team access.
Tender Management : Prepare tender documents by integrating existing business documents and filling them in the correct sections. Organize bidding documents and assist sales in completing the necessary preparations before upload. Maintain business-related documents for internal bidding in their latest versions. Organize and archive bidding materials after submission.
Logistics Support : Manage customer shipment bookings and troubleshoot delivery issues with third-party couriers and customs.
Accounts Receivable Support : Handle invoicing and payment management.
Other duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned by managers.
Essential Skills / Experience :
- Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Management, or related fields. A biology background or relevant work experience is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in biotech, medical devices, or regulated environments.
- In-depth knowledge of tender regulations and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written English communication skills.
- Native or business-level Italian language skills.
