Temporary Controller (freelancer - full remote - 6 months)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the automation of budgeting & service cost processes within IT Finance
  2. Oversee cost management & financial control activities, ensuring accurate tracking & reporting
  3. Develop & implement financial strategies to optimize cost efficiency & support business objectives
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide financial insights & support decision-making processes
  5. Utilize SAP & other cost management software to analyze financial data & generate reports
  6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations & standards
Required Skills
  1. 4/5 years of experience in cost management roles, preferably with a background as an IT controller
  2. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields
  3. Proficiency in SAP, cost management software & data analysis tools.
  4. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Nice-to-have:
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIMA, CMA) are considered a plus
  • Familiarity with the Apptio tool
  • Expertise in IT budget management, general accounting of technological items & cost classification by nature or service

Location: completely full remote
