Job Opportunity: Temporary Controller (Freelancer - Fully Remote - 6 Months)

Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group listed on the London Stock Exchange, specializes in consulting services within the Information Technology sector. We are seeking a skilled professional for the following position:

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the automation of budgeting and service cost processes within IT Finance.
2. Oversee cost management and financial control activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cost efficiency and support business objectives.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
5. Utilize SAP and other cost management software to analyze financial data and generate reports.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Required Skills

1. 4-5 years of experience in cost management roles, preferably with a background as an IT controller.
2. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
3. Proficiency in SAP, cost management software, and data analysis tools.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Professional certifications (e.g., CIMA, CMA) are a plus.
• Familiarity with the Apptio tool.
• Expertise in IT budget management, general accounting of technological items, and cost classification by nature or service.

Location: Fully remote. Freelancers with an Italian PIVA are highly welcomed.
