Competenze

• Laurea in ingegneria elettronica o telecomunicazioni.
• Competenze richieste in Signal Theory e progettazione di Ground Stations.
• Fluente in inglese (C1).

Mansioni

• Gestire attività di operazione e manutenzione delle Ground Station Network.
• Assicurare servizi di Telemetria per il controllo dei satelliti in orbita.
• Preparare e revisionare documentazione tecnica secondo gli standard di ingegneria.

DESCRIPTION

The Telemetry, Tracking e Command Engineer (TT&C), based in Fucino Space Centre, will be part of the TT&C Team and will report to the head of Telemetry & GSN Services Unit. He/she will be involved in all activities related to the support for the operational management of Ground Station Network systems.

ACTIVITIES AND DUTIES

As part of the TT&C Team, the main duties will be:

• Ensure the execution of Ground Station Network Operations and Maintenance activities (GSN's O&M) with the aim of providing services in compliance with Client’s Agreement requirements.

• Ensure the maintenance and management of the TT&C systems to guarantee the Telemetries services to support the control of the in-orbit satellites.

• Manage the documentation preparation and/or revision in accordance with the applicable engineering standard/best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

University Master’s degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

TECH SKILLS:

Junior Candidates should be system-minded, self-motivated, disciplined and results oriented with strong interpersonal skills, team working and problem-solving capability and flexibility in moving from one project to another, getting benefits for himself/herself, for the team and for the company. The availability to travel, according to the projects need, is requested:

- Basic knowledge on Signal Theory

- Basic knowledge of the Link Budget between Satellite and Ground Antenna

- Solid knowledge Ground Station design, architecture, and TT&C communication protocol

- Knowledge of the common engineering standard(s) and best practices for project management

- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux S.O.

- Good knowledge of the MS suite (MS Word, Excel, and Access)

It’s a plus:

- Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN) configuration and management;

- Familiarity with software programming languages (e.g.: Java, C, C++, Matlab, Python).

Candidates should be fluent in English (C1).
