Competenze

• 8+ anni di esperienza nella gestione tecnica di sottosistemi di telecomunicazione.
• Conoscenza delle tecnologie e dei sottosistemi IT e di sicurezza.

Location: Firenze, Italy (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the whole lifecycle of a bid from a technical point of view, for the following areas:
1. Communication Systems (IP Networking, Network Security, PABX and VoIP, WLAN, GSM-R, LTE, FRMCS, Structured Cabling, etc.)
2. Passenger Mobility Systems (Public Information Displays, Public Address Systems, Video Broadcasting Systems, etc.)
3. Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Digital Video and Voice recording, Fire Protection Systems, etc.)
4. SCADA/OCC Systems
2. Analyze contractual and system requirements, derive subsystem requirements, and build the system architecture based on the outcome of such analysis.
3. Responsible for all technical activities: identifying and analyzing requirements, defining architecture, allocating requirements to system components, defining interfaces between components, and developing solutions.
4. Ensure conformity with requirements, quality, and performance relevant to the Engineering work package.
5. Propose technical solutions.
6. Ensure requirements management and their allocation to subsystems/components.
7. Coordinate and communicate among various players in technical activities.
8. Act as the main technical interface for subsystems.
9. Participate in Bid Meetings (internal and external) when scheduled and/or requested.
10. Compile reports according to internal reporting procedures.
11. Coordinate and control different Vendors / Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.
12. Apply Quality procedures and HSE procedures and instructions correctly.
13. Allocate and coordinate human and physical resources in the team (if any).
14. Review the technical Scope of Work and keep the scope baseline updated, informing the Bid Manager and the Solution Engineering Manager.
15. Support and contribute to technical bid activities.
16. Contribute to the delivery of outcomes/artefacts (technical specs, BoQ, technical risks, assumptions & exclusions, etc.) required by Bids.
17. Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for the technical content of RFQ, offers evaluation, and suppliers selection.
18. Support the Purchasing Department in defining subcontracts and standard clauses to be inserted in the Sub Contract Agreement and Purchase Orders.

Skills and Experience:

1. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the technical management of Telecom Subsystems relevant to complex integrated Bids/projects in the Transportation Domain (Railways, Metro, Tramways, Tunnels, Urban Security, etc.).
2. Technical knowledge of all main technologies and subsystems used to implement IT, Telecom, and Security services.
3. Design and Integration of complex multiservice (data / video / voice) wired telecommunication networks (Gigabit Ethernet, MPLS, SDH, etc.), IP backbones and protocols (LACP, RSTP, OSPF, VLAN, etc.).
4. Design and Integration of wireless telecommunication networks (Wi-Fi, TETRA, GSM-R, LTE, FRMCS, etc.).
5. Design and Integration of CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems (EN 50131), Access Control Systems, Fire & Smoke Detection Systems (EN 54 and UL/FM).
6. Design and Integration of VoIP Telephone, Intercom, and Emergency Call Systems.
7. Design and Integration of Public Announcement / General Alarm Systems (PAGA), Voice Evacuation Systems (EVAC) (IEC 60849 / EN 54-16).
8. Design and Integration of Multimedia / Passenger Information Display Systems (PIS).
9. Knowledge of main EMI/EMC international standards (IEC 61000, EN 50121...).
10. Knowledge of RFI standards for Tunnel Security applications (TT528, TT597...).
11. Knowledge of main Rolling Stock standards (EN 50155, EN 50121-3-2, EN61373, IEC61375).
12. Design and Integration of LV/MV Power Supply Systems (UPS, AC/DC, LFM, etc.).
13. Design and Integration of SCADA/OCC Systems.

Additional Requirements:

1. Fluent in English and Italian.
2. Available to travel.
