Responsibilities

The measurement of reference samples is fundamental to ensuring the accuracy of measurements performed by Marposs products. Reporting directly to the LAT-accredited Metrology Laboratory Manager, the technician will perform coordinate measurements using high-precision instrumentation and evaluate the results.

Profile

Requirements include a high school diploma in mechanics or an equivalent field, with excellent knowledge of technical drawing in GPS (ISO 14638) / GD&T (ASME Y14.5M). Training in laboratory equipment use, particularly CMM programming software, will be provided. The ideal candidate should possess curiosity, passion, a desire to learn, and aptitude for using complex IT tools. Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work in confined environments, and willingness to work extended hours when necessary are important. Experience with Leitz machines (Quindos software), knowledge of Taylor Hobson roundness and roughness gauges, familiarity with CREO and AutoCAD, and previous experience in gear measurement or construction are advantageous.
