Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated MAINTENANCE TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in ALESSANDRIA, IT.

Accountabilities

• Manage relationships with clients and suppliers, respecting local regulations and company procedures;
• Oversee site activities, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and contractual objectives;
• Monitor activities of subcontractors, supervise installation and product testing with the final customer;
• Implement retrofit/modifications on vehicles during the warranty period;
• Address technical issues and risks, coordinating corrective actions with the responsible manager;
• Interface with the client regarding site and product activities;
• Ensure proper documentation is prepared, updated, and maintained at the site;
• Prepare technical and operational information for warranty service activation after vehicle acceptance;
• Collect and organize field feedback for process improvement, sharing with relevant teams;
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety regulations, and company Quality System;
• Coordinate and supervise assigned resources following HSE procedures.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Computer skills, including Excel;
• Basic knowledge of IP networking;
• Basic IT skills and experience with software like interface systems for trains (upgrading, monitoring);
• Ability to read and interpret technical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics;
• Good manual skills;
• Experience with measurement tools such as multimeters, anemometers, Megger;
• Problem-solving attitude regarding technical issues.

Desired Skills / Knowledge

• Knowledge of WinProject;
• Knowledge of PowerPoint.

Education / Qualifications

Technical/electrical diploma (Electrotechnics, Electronics, Informatics; Mechanical specialization not required).

Languages (optional)

Basic English language skills.
