Job Description

Company Description

Openjpbmetis Spa is seeking to hire a Biomedical Laboratory Technician for a clinic located in Taranto.

Position

The candidate will perform biomedical analyses on biological samples (blood, surgical tissue, urine, sputum, effusions, etc.) related to the activities of the healthcare facility (e.g., biochemistry, microbiology and virology, pharmacology, immunology, clinical pathology, hematology, cytology, histopathology, and cytogenetics).

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing laboratory facilities, analytical procedures, and their own work;
• Participating in planning and organizing work;
• Analyzing requests from doctors and selecting appropriate analysis techniques;
• Performing tests, verifying performance against standards, and preparing reports;
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance.

Requirements

• Possession of a degree as a Biomedical Laboratory Technician (not a biology degree);
• Professional certification/license;
• Previous experience, even if brief, in the role.

Additional Information

An initial temporary contract is offered at level C of the AIOP Collective Labour Agreement, with allowances as per the agreement.

Working hours: 36 hours per week, spread over 6 days (Monday to Saturday). Location: Taranto.
