Position: Tecnico delle strutture I

Responsibilities:

1. Provide immediate response to structural issues supporting production operations.
2. Anticipate and resolve problems promptly; identify improvement opportunities.
3. Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders for general structural maintenance and preventive maintenance programs, including safety equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, structural expansion, maintenance history, and fire systems.
4. Assist in maintaining an accurate layout of the structure and in assembling equipment layouts.
5. Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve plant operation and address maintenance issues.
6. Assist in managing external vendors for structural, equipment, and infrastructure issues.
7. Promote a Lean environment to achieve cost objectives.
8. Ensure compliance with established ISO standards.
9. Assist in managing hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
10. Coordinate efforts related to spill prevention and mitigation.
11. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

1. No prior maintenance or structural maintenance experience required, but preferred.
2. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
3. Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to prioritize and allocate resources to resolve structural issues.
5. Experience with Excel, Word, FIXX.
6. Production experience is desirable; consideration given to those with relevant skills from other lines of work.
