About the Role

The Technology Support Services Supervisor is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for overseeing technology support services, including high-level support of all firm-standard software applications, and assisting in the development of customized software features or applications. The supervisor will work with the Human Capital & Talent team to recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of employees. This position is based in our Milan office and requires in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising effective methodologies to triage support needs across the department, including AV support, hardware deployment, training, and outreach.
  • Assisting with overflow support needs, reassigning, and delegating resources as needed.
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues, interacting with manufacturers’ technical support, maintaining data security, and disaster recovery measures.
  • Supporting the Manager of Technology Services in implementing and administering technology directives from the Global Services Office.
  • Staying updated on new technologies and assessing training and development needs.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Exhibit leadership and communication skills necessary for effective management and interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Possess knowledge of team-building, coaching, and motivational skills in a customer service environment.
  • Have service management skills, including performance analysis, reporting, and process optimization (e.g., ITIL).
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.

And have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in technology systems and service delivery management in an ITIL-based environment.
  • Experience leading teams to meet and exceed performance expectations, with a record of continual improvement.
  • Experience with computer systems, applications, and telecommunications systems is preferred.
