About the role:

As aTechnology Business Consultant, you’ll contribute to a critical component of our success. While workingclosely with clients and internal teams to deliverinnovative, newsolutions that meet their needsand help advance the way the world pays,banks, and invests.

About the team:

We are Payment Hub, a division of the FIS Capital Markets business. We are responsible for the development, marketing, and delivery of our Corporate Payments solutions and services globally. Our division focuses on Enterprise clients, usually large corporations, and Tier 3 banks. It is built around three pillars: Product Management, Product Development, and Professional Services. We provide solutions and services to centralize treasury and payments processes, consolidate and interconnect back-office and banking landscapes, and improve control over finances and capital. Our team of 100+ consultants manages approximately 350 engagements yearly, ranging from consultancy and support to large first implementations, upgrades, and global rollouts.

What you bring:

• Engage with the client’s business and manage client relationships effectively, aiming to improve overall client satisfaction and generate positive feedback.
• Contribute to delivering services and projects within contractual constraints (scope, approach, time) with a tolerance of 10% or within set tolerances.
• Achieve 80% of the goals set for the mission or project, focusing on the quality of deliverables and inputs to improve services and solutions offerings.
• Deliver against personal and team revenue and chargeability (client billable hours) targets.
• Provide concrete illustrations of engagement, initiative, problem-solving, and creative solutions when facing challenges.
• Collaborate with other involved actors (Consultants, Project Managers, Practice Managers, other FIS delivery teams) to deliver expected results.
• Generate new revenue opportunities by liaising with presales and sales teams.
• Contribute to the development and growth of products, service catalogues, and toolkits.
• Stay abreast of market and industry evolution in Treasury, Payments, Cash Management, and Corporate Banking.
• Acquire and maintain functional expertise in FIS solutions and products.
• Suggest potential product evolutions based on accumulated knowledge and client feedback.

• Fluent in English and native Italian
• Java experience - scripting
• Tech-oriented
• Experience in AWS public cloud

• Experience in gathering requirements from clients

• Preferably Trax experience or similar
• Payment experience

Added bonusif you have:

• Experience in Treasury Management or Cash Management Processes
• Familiarity with Banking Connectivity (SWIFT, EBICS)
• Knowledge of Message Formats (ISO20022, SWIFT MTs, Country Specific)
