Job Description:

RINA is recruiting a Technician for High Pressure Testing to join its offices in Roma and Perdas within the Materials & Technologies Division.

Mission

The technician will perform mechanical and high-pressure tests on standard or customized samples, primarily serving the Oil & Gas sector, but also supporting aerospace, defense, marine, and other industries. The role involves preparing test setups, executing tests according to standards and client specifications, and maintaining testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in compliance with European and international standards for component and material qualification.
• Conduct tests based on client-specific procedures to characterize component performance in field conditions.
• Perform 'fit for purpose' tests to identify causes of specific field issues.
• Prepare mechanical tests on full-scale components, including minor mechanical modifications to adapt testing equipment.
• Regularly check and calibrate testing equipment, performing necessary maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth laboratory operations and resolve issues.

Travel to Perdasdefogu (Nuoro) for extended periods may be required.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Studies or Science.
