In this full-time role, you will assist the Geochemistry Team, ensuring the safety of survey crews while conducting critical environmental assessments in various geothermal projects.

The Field Services Technician assists the Geochemist in conducting field geochemical surveys and investigations in geothermal prospects and project sites, as well geochemical special studies and innovations. He / She collects water and gas samples of thermal manifestations, discharging wells during surface exploration, advanced exploration, development and / or production stages of geothermal energy development. He / She collects soil gas data using specialized equipment.

The Field Services Technician assists the Geochemists in planning and implementing the team’s activities, encoding data, and in ensuring proper data collection and management. He / She prepares and endorses to the Geochemistry Team instrument design and fabrication, when needed. He / She conducts basic equipment troubleshooting and performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment.

He / She is responsible for the safety and well-being of survey crews during field works. He / She performs administrative duties.
