Make a difference as Technician External Trials – Breeding Support

As a Technician External Trials, you’ll support our breeding efforts by managing crop trials and collecting essential data. Your work will help us determine the feasibility of new crop varieties.

  • Plan trial activities such as sowing, transplanting and harvesting with the breeding team and external growers.
  • Collect phenotypic data on plant and fruit traits, and report findings in a timely manner.
  • Carry out sowing, planting and harvesting at external trial locations.
  • Care for crops and ensure their health and quality throughout the trial period.
  • Follow phytosanitary protocols to maintain trial integrity.
  • Consult with breeders about crop development and data progress.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment.
  • You may also lead, coach and motivate team members.

You’ll report to the Station Manager and work within one country, in an operational capacity.
