The ideal candidate will have proven experience in aviation logistics and tooling management. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with tooling standards are essential. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with valid working permission for Italy.

Lufthansa Technik Milan is looking for you to join our team in Malpensa. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tooling Procurement & Controlling Specialist to join our aviation logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, compliance, and traceability of specialized tooling used in aircraft maintenance and operations.

Tasks

• Contact for maintenance planning and production on material and tool provisioning
• Ensures availability of tools and equipment for line and base maintenance
• Performs basic maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment
• Manages logistics for sales, loans and shipments per customer needs
• Oversees provisioning with warehouse, suppliers, forwarders and customs
• Ensures material flow and information exchange during maintenance
• Supports planning for material evaluation of customer requests
• Clarifies provisioning deadlines and joins production meetings
• Performs incoming checks and bookings in warehouse system
• Handles storage, picking, packing and shipping of materials and tools
• Supports team and assists in warehouse operations and projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in aviation logistics, tooling management, or procurement.
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance environments and tooling standards (e.g., EASA Part-145, FAA).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Technical background or certification in aviation maintenance is a plus.
• Italian nationality or a valid residence and working permission for Italy.
