In this position, you will work closely with Regional Sales Managers and provide technical support for Danfoss products related to the Cooling segment to our customers: wholesalers and small OEMs in Italy. You will be part of a South West regional team.

You will offer expertise on components and systems, apply problem-solving skills, and support the selection and application of Danfoss products.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support to customers and sales for existing and future business, acting as the main point of contact for quality topics, especially for application-related discussions. Ensuring proper handling and installation of products at the customer factory level.
• Participating in and delivering product and training presentations, including new product launches, to sales teams and customers.
• Handling specific customer requests in collaboration with other Danfoss Cooling departments (engineering, lab, TPM, logistics).
• Identifying critical sales factors from a technical perspective in customer projects and proposing activities to achieve them.
• Maintaining and cultivating customer relationships, focusing on key decision makers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational background in thermodynamics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field. 3-5+ years of experience in HVAC/R.
• Good knowledge of vapor compression systems, heat transfer processes, and product technologies, including compressor technology, condensing units, and related applications. General knowledge of heat exchanger design and operation, with specific expertise in BPHE and MCHE. Experience with electronics components like unit controllers, EXV controllers, sensors, etc.
• Customer-focused with strong coordination and communication skills. Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a global team environment.
• Excellent command of Italian and English languages; proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% within Italy.
