Job Description

Overview: Our client is a global provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions that enable operators to improve quality, reduce network operational expenses, and manage and monetize the mobile Internet. They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a home office-based role anywhere in Eastern Europe.

Requirements
  • Approximately 5 years’ experience in customer-facing roles within the international mobile and Telco markets, working with telco providers
  • Knowledge of customer support processes, tools, and troubleshooting
  • Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, switching, routing (must)
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems (must)
  • Experience with load balancers, VM environments, NFV, and SDN (advantage)
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Problem-solving skills, independent and creative
  • Ability to work remotely with international teams
  • Excellent English communication skills (reading and writing)
  • Participation in on-call rotation
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
Responsibilities
  • Support, maintain, and manage the company's systems and technical services infrastructure
  • Deploy products, including installation, integration, configuration, and testing at customer sites and remotely
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues within SLA, on-site and remotely
  • Respond quickly to malfunctions, complaints, and queries, managing incidents, problems, and changes
  • Resolve production and deployment issues independently and promptly
  • Perform deployment tasks remotely and at customer sites
  • Configure applications according to customer requirements
  • Follow company methods, procedures, tools, and policies to ensure high-quality service
