Job Description:

Hoymiles Power Electronics Inc., is a globally leading inverter manufacturer with offices and services around the globe. The headquarters is based in Hangzhou, China, with R&D and manufacturing facilities there. Hoymiles has a significant R&D team designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art microinverters and hybrid inverters for international markets. To develop our business in Mexico and improve customer service, we are building a strong technical support team and are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer for Pre-Sales activities and After-Sales Services in Italy, reporting to the Head of Technical Support at HQ.

Major Responsibilities:

After Sales:

1. Maintain service levels and fulfill service requests from local customers, especially VIP clients.
2. Establish and localize training systems and materials.
3. Follow RMA processes to ensure timely closures.
4. Develop solutions to optimize local service quality, including technical guidance, response times, spare pool management, faulty unit disposal, and cost control.
5. Provide regular service reports to HQ.

Pre-Sales and Customer Support:

1. Collaborate with sales teams for technical exchanges with Brazilian customers, training, and technical solutions.
2. Prepare presentation and technical documents, including bidding materials.
3. Analyze legal and technical certification requirements for specified countries and ensure compliance.
4. Monitor market environment and provide competitive intelligence.
5. Analyze competitors’ products and features, working with HQ on competitive analysis.
6. Support sales teams by visiting clients and project sites, assisting with system planning, and guiding PV system installations.
7. Coordinate training sessions and participate in exhibitions.

Required Experience and Competencies:

1. Based in Italy, willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
2. HBO diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering or solar energy industry.
3. At least 1 year of technical experience, preferably in renewable energy.
4. Experience with inverter technologies, including R&D, service, or sales in the inverter industry.
5. Self-driven, problem-solving mindset, capable of providing multiple solutions.
6. International mindset suitable for a multicultural environment.
7. Native-level Italian and fluent English in business contexts.
