A leading company is looking for a Deskside Engineer to provide on-site IT support for various user devices and systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, IT experience, and fluency in English and Italian, ready to start immediately.
Job Description for Dispatch:
The IT Site Support Specialist will be responsible for:
·Deskside support for end user devices (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Mobile devices, etc.)
·Providing hands and feet support for OT Devices/ production devices/sites as requested.
·Checking / Validation conference & meeting rooms
·Providing hands & feet support for any issues as requested by support teams Vendor
·Coordination at different sites for activities like replacement of devices, cables, NW equipment, etc
·Cable Matrix.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal IT Site Support Specialist will have demonstrated prior IT experience preferable within the professional services industry, excellent communications skills and an aptitude for problem solving. We are looking for someone with:
·Ability to prioritize issues on a case-by-case basis
·Excellent customer service skills
·Experience working in an ITIL based Service Desk
·Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows based technologies
·Hardware platforms including HP laptops & Cisco phones.
·Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DSM/intune and M365
·Outstanding troubleshooting skills in WAN/LAN/Desktop situations
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
6.3Technical Support Services:
Supplier will provide Level 2 Support (for Incident Resolution and Service Request
fulfilment of Supported Hardware, Supported Software and applications) as per language requirements. Supplier will assist Clients end users in diagnosing and resolving Hardware and software related issues with Clients IT devices. Supplier technicians will perform tasks as per the definitions as well as the below tasks at Clients sites:
1) DeskSide Support (OnSite Services Support)
2) IMACD Services
3) Hands and Eyes Audio Video Support for Conference Rooms
4) Hardware Asset and Inventory management
6) Clients Advocacy and End to End Incident ownership
