Danfoss Turbocor Compressors is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer based in Italy to deliver expert service across Europe and the Middle East.

You will manage warranty activities, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with OEMs and customers, using ERP systems to improve support workflows while traveling up to 50% as required to meet business goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Thermodynamics focus is a plus.
• 5+ years in technical product or project management with strong networking in HVAC.
• Knowledge of Chillers and Refrigeration systems.
• Strong Italian and English communication; German/French a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (Europe/Middle East) up to 50%.

We are looking for an experienced and committed Technical Support Engineer for Danfoss Turbocor® Compressors, to be based in Italy.

As part of our After Sales Service team, you will provide top-notch support to both internal and external Danfoss customers across Europe and the Middle East. Your mission will include delivering offsite, onsite, and online assistance to ensure our compressors perform at their best.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage warranty execution, troubleshooting activities, and failure analysis to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure effective customer support.
• Coordinate technical support activities with OEMs and customers, including issue resolution, Aftermarket Programs/Projects, customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical training.
• Leverage ERP systems and customer feedback to manage support workflows, identify product and service improvements, and contribute to quality enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering and business initiatives, supporting new product launches, market opportunities, events, and product recommendations to drive growth.
• Customer centric role requiring strong negotiation skills and ability to manage challenging situations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; a focus in Thermodynamics will be an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in technical product or project management with strong networking with key stakeholders in the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industry.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of Chillers and Refrigeration systems.
• Proven technical analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively manage and seize technical opportunities to meet business growth objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and collaborate with team members.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Italian and English. Knowledge of German and/or French will be an asset.
• Proven ability to review, implement, and maintain technical, product application, and related marketing strategies.
• Extensive travel across Europe and the Middle East is required (typically 35% of the time, but up to 50% during peak periods), so a location close to an international airport is preferred.
