The Company

Multinational Pharmaceutical Group, leader in the development and manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), is currently seeking a :

TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER

The Role

  • Ensure the effective management of scheduled and extraordinary maintenance activities to guarantee asset availability and full regulatory compliance
  • Supervise OpEx and CapEx budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution
  • Oversee procurement processes, including contract management and purchase orders
  • Manage internal teams and coordinate external service providers
  • Supervise critical instrumentation, including validation and calibration processes
  • Lead facility and energy management activities, ensuring sustainability and efficiency
  • Support the drafting of User Requirement Specifications (URS) for new equipment, contribute to technical evaluations during tender processes, and manage commissioning and qualification activities
  • Act as key liaison with the EHS department for health and safety matters and with the QA department for cGMP compliance
  • Contribute to the identification, definition, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), as well as risk assessments and deviation management
  • Provide technical support for the development of new technical and economic initiatives
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Legislative Decree 81 / 08 (Occupational Health & Safety)

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
  • 6–8 years of experience, including at least 2–4 years in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, plastic or paper mill industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in team management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and highly motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
  • Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) principles
  • Team player with strong leadership abilities
