Technical Service Engineer - Lombardy and Veneto

Work Arrangement : Remote

As a Technical Service Engineer , you will be part of our technical service team in your assigned area in Italy, providing technical support to our local customers. You will have an opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment.

What you will do :

  • Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform training, both internally and externally where needed.
  • Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault / solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location), reverse flow, billing block code, billing request confirmation.
  • Actively promote and sell M-I service products to our customers, improving application uptime and maximizing sales results, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Work in partnership with the Sales team to support sales revenue targets and growth. Build strong relationships with the Sales department.
  • Travel to customer sites within your assigned area, with occasional national travel for training and meetings.

What you need to have :

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High proficiency in Italian; intermediate English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
  • Ability to assess technical situations and proactively advise on solutions.
  • Relevant certifications in Mechanical, Electrical / Electronics, Networking, Vision cameras, or software capabilities.
  • Expert knowledge of technical products, ideally including Markem-Imaje’s product range.
