Technical Service Engineer - Lombardy and Veneto

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be part of our technical service team in your assigned area in Italy, providing technical support to our local customers. This role offers an opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct training sessions internally and externally as needed.
• Complete service reports accurately, including details such as time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location), reverse flow, billing block code, and billing request confirmation.
• Actively promote and sell M-I service products to customers, enhancing application uptime and maximizing sales results, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to support sales revenue targets and growth, building strong relationships with the department.
• Travel to customer sites within your assigned area, with occasional national travel for training and meetings.

Required qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High proficiency in Italian; intermediate English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and plan time efficiently.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
• Ability to assess technical situations and proactively advise on solutions.
• Certifications in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Networking, Vision cameras, or software capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of technical products, ideally including Markem-Imaje’s product range.
