Technical Service Engineer – HL7 Specialist

Are you looking for a role where you can have a real impact on our company's success and end-patient care?

As a Technical Service Engineer at Natus Medical, you will work directly with our Service team to ensure we provide the best after-sales service to our customers. Your decision-making and problem-solving skills will be essential to our success.

What you’ll do in this role :

  • Support customers with existing installations implementing HL7 standards.
  • Perform integration of HL7 standards in new installations.
  • Follow the Company's Quality System by ensuring all technical support activities adhere to company procedures (e.g., quotations, support dossiers, work certificates, shipments, installations, after-sales services).
  • Analyze customer complaints and create reports on frequently asked questions and common issues.
  • Manage customer claims efficiently, providing responses and support for each case, in line with the Company's Quality System.
  • Oversee return shipments, replacements, and loan shipments of products for technical service, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist customers in understanding and utilizing the Company’s products and services, offering solutions and support for issues.
  • Report internal product-related issues to relevant departments (e.g., Manufacturing, R&D) for improvements.
  • Inform and update customers about new product features and benefits.

Skills and experience needed :

  • Good knowledge of HL7 standards and related Italian government specifications and applications.
  • Proficiency with Mirth Connect.
  • Relevant degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Bio Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Medical Device company is preferred.
  • Good computer skills, including Office 365, IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and PC formatting.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP / IP, routers, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
