Competenze

Descrizione del lavoro

As a Sales Officer at ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products, you will be responsible for driving business and project development, as well as achieving revenue targets within the steel Sheet Piling sector in Italy. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the steel industry and market dynamics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production/mill, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Market and commercialize Steel Foundation Solutions and related products in your geographical area by combining commercial skills, customer relationship management, and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain regular contact with end-users, authorities, engineering companies, and contractors to stay updated on current and future projects.
  • Develop the Italian market and create new opportunities with support from the Central Sheet Piles team and the Head of Sales Italy.
  • Ensure ArcelorMittal Foundation Solutions are the preferred choice for stakeholders through consistent engagement.
  • Maintain and develop your professional network.
  • Provide detailed market analysis and monitor competitors.
  • Generate commercial offers and negotiate sales.
  • Offer after-sales support and handle techno-commercial claims in collaboration with the technical team and the mill.

Your profile

  • University degree in science, preferably civil engineering with geotechnical specialization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial role, including commercial and contractual aspects.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and dynamic.
  • Experience in project-oriented and/or multinational environments.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Based in Milan with high travel frequency within Italy (40-50%).
