Position: Technical Sales Representative - Biostimulants

Syngenta is seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Representative to generate demand for biostimulant products among leading agricultural companies in the provinces of Foggia and Western Bari. The role involves providing technical and commercial support to distributor clients, collaborating with the sales team, and developing strong relationships with opinion leader farms and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate demand for biostimulant products with major agricultural companies in Foggia and Western Bari provinces.
  2. Support distributor clients both technically and commercially, collaborating with the sales force involved in distribution.
  3. Achieve financial targets for the assigned area.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with leading farms and distributors, providing information, consultancy, and support on Syngenta's biostimulant portfolio across key crops such as vineyards, citrus, drupaceous fruits, tomatoes, cereals, olives, vegetables, and floriculture.
  5. Participate in the execution of activities and initiatives related to campaigns and promotional events.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma in Agriculture or Degree in Agricultural Sciences or equivalent, with practical technical/agronomic experience in the aforementioned crops.
  2. Experience in technical-commercial roles within the biostimulants, crop protection, or similar sectors.
  3. Strong customer focus and excellent knowledge of the territory.
  4. Willingness to travel and mobility across the territory.

Additional Information:

  • Essential qualities include flexibility, organizational skills, problem-solving attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and team spirit.
  • Familiarity with key company IT systems such as order management and CRM, and proficiency in English are considered a plus.
