Job Description

Position Summary

The candidate is a highly organized, self-motivating individual with excellent communication skills. The candidate promotes and sells Pure-Flo and EnviZion (PF) products directly in the market and through distributors, representatives, and Engineering Firms (A&E’s). This is a hands-on sales role involving travel within the region to visit customers, discover new opportunities, and increase sales. Responsibilities include developing new OEM accounts, exploring large CAPEX projects, and supporting other regional activities as required by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC.

The initial territory includes Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, France, and Hungary. The markets and territory may evolve over time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Using persuasion, logic, and product expertise to promote and sell valves/products to end users, A&E accounts, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Expanding the distribution network.
  • Identifying and working on new CAPEX projects for PF valves.
  • Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to aftermarket support.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date territory plan.
  • Traveling approximately 60% nationally and internationally to visit key accounts and distributors.
  • Performing specifications work and conducting product seminars and training sessions.
  • Supporting distributors' sales efforts and providing market intelligence.
  • Maintaining reports on projects and opportunities, supporting reporting and forecasting.
  • Communicating regularly with the supervisor and maintaining sales action plans.
  • Reporting to and following the directions of the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

To succeed, candidates should meet the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of outside technical valve sales experience preferred.
  • Channel management experience and capital equipment sales experience are advantageous.

Language Skills

Fluency in German and English (both verbal and written) is required. Ability to interpret business and technical documents and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts and apply them practically.

Reasoning Ability

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret instructions and adapt to variable situations.

Computing Skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications and navigation of custom software systems in a Windows environment.
