THE COMPANY

Position: Technical Sales Representative Decorative Lazio

THE ROLE
  1. Define operational strategy and develop, negotiate, manage, and ensure realization of contracts for the assigned key account(s).
  2. Fully understand the key account’s current and future needs and align joint business opportunities to develop revenue and a long-term relationship.
  3. Create and own the Customer Value Proposition at the key account, including negotiation and management of all contracts.
  4. Maintain an overall perspective of the customer’s interface and inform the organization of key developments through effective internal communication.
  5. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities for the Business Area at assigned key accounts.
  6. Create a strong network with other functions regarding this key account.
  7. Develop partnerships with customers to proactively grow the category, share of wallet, and shelf presence.
  8. Communicate strategic plans for each customer and verify with the sales manager the application of these plans.
  9. Review progress with customers against plans, identify areas for continuous improvement.
  10. Review progress versus strategy and financial performance.
  11. Create and ensure execution of joint business plans with key customers.
  12. Own promotional strategy for the assigned customer.
  13. Communicate activation plans to the field sales force, including target setting and KPIs.
  14. Identify, plan, and develop new customers within a specific area.
  15. Prescribe suitable specifications that will delight the customer and drive growth, proactively expanding the category and share of wallet.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of work experience in commercial roles, sales, and key account management, specifically in the paints and coatings industry.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of cross-functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve.
