Position Title : Technical Sales Manager – Heat Pumps
Office : Remote (Italy)
Your mission
We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to support the growth and market penetration of our heat pump solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between commercial strategy and technical understanding, serving as a key contact for clients seeking efficient, sustainable heating and cooling systems.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, providing technical consultation, and delivering tailored solutions to customers across residential, commercial, and light industrial sectors.
Your main responsibilities
- Drive sales of heat pump systems to B2B customers, including developers, installers, HVAC contractors, and energy consultants.
- Provide technical guidance and system design support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and addressed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and product teams to ensure solutions meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving regulations in the renewable heating and cooling space.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and technical seminars.
- Provide feedback from the field to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Energy Technology, HVAC Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–7+ years of technical sales experience in the HVAC, renewable energy, or building technologies sector.
- In-depth knowledge of heat pump systems, including air-source, ground-source, and hybrid systems.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, efficiency standards, and incentive schemes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value for clients.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and technical sales software (e.g., AutoCAD, simulation tools).
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.
