OTT HydroMet is seeking a Technical Sales Manager – Solar Energy for the Southern European region. The role is remote and location flexible within Croatia, Italy, Greece or Slovenia.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities with direct and indirect channels through a variety of sales activities and tactics such as consultative selling, funnel management and share of wallet cross / up selling.
  • Demonstrate time & territory balance by developing and executing a plan to maximize time in the field with customers and prospects.
  • Stay on top of industry trends through collaboration with peers, industry publications, and industry conference attendance.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts and customer-specific project initiatives through internal departments including Legal, Finance, Sales, Service and Customer Support.
  • Use metrics, KPI, and forecasting to self-manage productivity and meet targets for profitable sales volume.
  • Develop, nurture, and understand health of customer opportunity funnel and collaborate with leadership and sales operations to ensure best results.
Essential requirements
  • 3+ years of sales / commercial experience in the B2B-oriented solar energy industry; utility-scale PV experience is a plus.
  • BA or BSc degree in a management or science-related field such as Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • B2 level language skills in English; other language skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated relational and presentation skills, including ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in the use of a CRM tool for funnel management and forecasting
  • Ability to travel: 50% of the time within the South-EU region with a valid driver\'s license
