A leading company in air treatment is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to bolster its Industrial Technologies team. This role involves supporting sales engagements, fostering customer relationships, and contributing to product training and marketing efforts. Candidates should possess a relevant degree, extensive experience, and strong communication skills, with travel requirements for domestic and international engagements.
We are searching for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team in a remote capacity, with the option to work from our Pordenone, Italy office if preferred.
Job Description :
Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs, including both product and service-related support. Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs, and establish customer rapport with products and services. Work with all facets of the customer’s organization, including engineering, purchasing / sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives. Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training. Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization. Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback. Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs Support all product and business promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field. 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing OR R&D dept. Familiar with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products Knowledge and understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills (English and one of the European languages). Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects. Frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Prior work experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial. Knowledge of the Chinese language will be beneficial, but not required.
