Company Description

Interpump, the world's leading manufacturer of high-pressure pumps, was founded in 1977 thanks to the ingenuity and entrepreneurship of Fulvio Montipò. Interpump includes brands operating in the historic core business of the Interpump Group, namely the manufacturing and marketing of plunger pumps with power ranging from 1 to 2,000 HP (0.7 to 1,500 kW), and related components and accessories. Since 2017, Interpump also includes companies active in the production of special pumps, mixers, agitators, cleaning systems, valves and tanks for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer located in Reggio nell'Emilia. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to customers, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also need to present product information, perform product demonstrations, and collaborate with the engineering team to provide the best solutions to customers' needs.

  • Identify and establish new business
  • Suggest products to customers
  • Present technical data and analysis

Technical support

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical advice and support
  • Demonstrate how to use new products and / or services
  • Work with different departments, such as engineering and design
  • Liaise with existing clients
  • Deal directly with production engineers, maintenance engineers, and plant managers

Skills and knowledge

Technical sales engineers need to have :

  • A strong technical understanding of the products or services they are selling
  • Excellent sales skills
  • The ability to translate and explain complex technical information to customers
  • The ability to stay abreast of the latest developments and breakthroughs
