Job Opportunity: Technical Sales Consultant in Padova, Italy

For our client, a renowned and historic Italian company operating in the construction sector, we are seeking a Technical Sales Consultant.

Location and Work Mode

Area: Vicenza, Verona, and surrounding provinces

Residence: Vicenza, province, or nearby areas

Work Mode: On-site or remote, with a requirement to be present at the company headquarters in the North-East once a week

Job Description

The selected candidate, reporting to an Area Manager, will be responsible for:

  1. Promoting company products through commercial visits, participation in industry fairs, and organizing promotional events;
  2. Managing visits with current and potential clients to build strong relationships, present customized solutions, and address specific client needs;
  3. Researching and identifying new sectors, geographic areas, or markets for exploration. Monitoring competitors and analyzing market trends to identify new growth opportunities;
  4. Preparing and sending detailed reports on commercial activities, opportunity management, and negotiation progress;
  5. Maintaining and managing the client portfolio, monitoring satisfaction levels, and resolving post-sales issues;
  6. Continuously monitoring sales results and performance, preparing comparative analyses, and suggesting strategies to optimize market approach;
  7. Participating in training courses and internal development programs.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in selling building materials (cement, bricks, prefabricated elements, etc.);
  • Experience engaging with technical studios, design firms, construction sites, building companies, and resellers is preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and highly customer-focused;
  • Goal-oriented with motivation to meet and exceed sales targets;
  • Ability to plan activities independently and manage time effectively.
