Trevi Group is looking for a professional with expertise in ground improvement and foundation works. The role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations on the construction site while collaborating closely with the Site Manager and Technical Office.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of technologies related to soil consolidation, proven capability to provide technical support, and a good grasp of relevant policies and standards. The position offers a salary range of €40,000 to €55,000, depending on experience.

Competenze

  • In-depth knowledge of technologies and work processes for ground improvement/soil consolidation and foundation works.
  • Proven ability to define alternative technical solutions for the execution of works.
  • Knowledge of the main Italian and international standards applicable to the construction sector.

Descrizione del lavoro

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality in the workplace in accordance with applicable local legislation.
  • Support the Site Manager in defining site activities (methods and execution phases) in order to deliver the works in compliance with specifications and the required design and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with and report to the Head Office Technical Office any critical issues, anomalies, or changes that occur on site.
  • Identify and define, during tender and/or design phases, alternative technical solutions for the execution of the works, in collaboration with the Technical Office Department (during the preliminary phase), the Site Manager, and, where applicable, the Construction Manager (after contract award).
  • Collaborate with the Technical Office, during the construction design phase following any contract award, in preparing the Method Statements related to specific site activities and technologies.
  • Manage and support the execution of any trial fields and final acceptance tests, providing the relevant reporting on the results achieved.
  • Prepare and complete quality control checklists/forms.
  • Take part in technical briefings with the General Contractor’s and/or Client’s designers, in order to identify alternative solutions and/or optimizations.
  • Provide technical assistance during site activities.
  • Verify the effectiveness of the adopted design solutions and manage any non-conformities that entail design changes.
  • Prepare the end-of-works report, describing any issues that arose during execution and the related solutions adopted and, where required, the “As Built” drawings of the completed works.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of technologies and work processes for ground improvement/soil consolidation and foundation works.
  • Proven ability to define alternative technical solutions for the execution of works.
  • Capability to provide technical support to construction sites.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures within the relevant professional area.
  • Knowledge of applications/software used in the relevant professional area (design, testing/acceptance, etc.).
  • Knowledge of the Quality Management System and the main procedures of corporate functions.
  • Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering.
  • Knowledge of the main Italian and international standards applicable to the construction sector (health & safety, environment, quality…).
Benefits

The salary range for this position is between €40,000 and €55,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Construction Industry (CCNL Edile Industria).

Board and accommodation are provided for candidates working away from their home location.
