Job Description:

Position: Technical Operations & NOC Support (Distribution)

Company: Deluxe, a leading media and entertainment service provider servicing clients like Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and others, with headquarters in Los Angeles.

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Rome, Italy

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Answering technical support calls and emails from Italian cinemas
  • Commissioning, installation, setup, and maintenance of servers and media players (remotely)
  • Performing integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files
  • Performing diagnostic checks on servers and media players
  • Monitoring the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency
  • Upgrading the CDN to increase content delivery capacity
  • Content Management and data I/O activities
  • On call availability for shifts on nights, weekends (approx. once per month), and during Live Events
  • Providing technical support during Live Events: coordination with third-party tech partners, setup, and monitoring media players, help desk support
  • Maintaining communication with managers, staff, and vendors for smooth operations
  • Implementing and maintaining quality protocols
  • Enhancing existing processes and procedures for increased internal capacity
Key Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, excellent time-management
  • Linux knowledge
  • Network protocols knowledge
  • Teamwork, detail-oriented, multitasking, ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Prioritization skills, sense of urgency, working well under pressure
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Two or more years of proven success in an operations role
  • Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools, and workflows
  • Background in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
