In this role, you will develop, implement, and support service technologies, products, and resolve fleet issues to meet customer expectations. You will work within a team of experts on the design and upgrade of installation, commissioning, and maintenance manuals for IET Gas Technology Equipment and plants, leveraging digital/3D modelling technology, technical expertise, and design practices. You will collaborate with key stakeholders in Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, IET Gas Technology Services, and IET Gas Technology Equipment organizations to foster innovation, quality, and collaboration, aiming to improve equipment first-time yield at startup.

As a , with a focus on requisition projects and NPD programs, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple projects independently, monitoring progress and quality, ensuring schedule requirements are met, and prioritizing as needed.
  • Designing technical manuals and procedures using innovative approaches and digital tools to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Developing and upgrading engineering standards, tools, and design practices.
  • Creating new technical instructions, manuals, and plans related to NPD and new energy technology solutions.
  • Coordinating and supporting outsourced engineering resources, monitoring their quality, timing, and productivity.
  • Ensuring document finalization aligns with customer requirements and project transmission rules.
  • Participating in problem-solving teams, standardization, and sharing best practices.
  • Providing support during the Inquiry to Order phase by analyzing customer specifications.
  • Participating in customer meetings and technical reviews.
  • Supporting RCA and site issues by promoting quality awareness through lessons learned, technical notes, and resolution of top issues.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
  • Interfacing with project management, installation managers, and project engineering to issue job-specific documentation according to contractual milestones.
  • Protecting and promoting company intellectual property rights and HSE policies.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Hold a BSc. or MSc. in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Have proven experience in engineering projects/programs or field service activities.
  • Be familiar with turbomachinery, erection, start-up, and maintenance operations.
  • Be capable of managing multiple complex tasks and establishing effective work priorities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Show proactive attitude and innovative mindset.
  • Lead tasks effectively and communicate across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrate passion for quality work, intellectual rigor, and professional discipline.
  • Be able to work in a global environment.
  • Be familiar with Baker Hughes e-tools like TCE, EDM, and machinery design tools.
  • Show knowledge of international standards, XML language, Hazop, and EHS matters.
  • Be fluent in written and verbal Italian and English.
  • Hold a valid EU work permit.
