The role

As it continues to grow rapidly, MotorK is seeking an experienced, highly energetic, and motivational Team Leader. Someone who looks for win-win opportunities with an outcome-driven mindset, experienced enough to know that for any technical solution, execution is key for success.

We’re constantly striving to be data-driven. That means we measure everything that provides insights for continuous improvement. We do this in a Lean way, using Kanban to visualize our workflow while adopting Scrum as an agile framework.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in a Software Engineering role
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Lean practices like Kanban/Kaizen
• Bias for action and a customer-centric approach
• Experience working in an environment promoting DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Delivery
• Proven people management experience focused on developing and growing team members, providing feedback, and performance management
• Ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams
• Commercial experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel; experience with NodeJS and Vue.js is a plus
• Strong Software Engineering skills, including software design principles and practices
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing and specifying new architecture, features, and solutions
• Drive high-quality output from teams with a strong delivery mindset
• Provide reports and insights to management; plan and track project progress using Agile metrics and estimation
• Build relationships between technical teams and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication
• Monitor team productivity and promote improvements in ways of working, engineering principles, and practices
• Manage employee career and development plans within the team
• Support hiring and talent development initiatives
• Retain top talent and key knowledge holders
