Job Title: Technical Knowledge Consultant (TKC)

The Technical Knowledge Consultant (TKC) will help elevate the department’s understanding of new functionality. The TKC will not be responsible for writing documentation or creating training materials but will mentor team members, assist in onboarding new hires, and enable the team to handle more complex assignments.

Requirements

• Experience working with the OneStream platform with a desire to learn and share knowledge.
• Self-starter, accountable, driven, ethical, personable, and persistent.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Knowledge Capture

• Investigate product features to expedite content development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand upcoming features and solutions, becoming a SME for training and documentation validation.
• Identify use-cases for new features to enhance community enablement.
• Coordinate with support teams to address concerns and improve documentation and training approaches.

Enablement

• Serve as a SME within the Product Knowledge department.
• Use effective knowledge transfer to accelerate deliverables.
• Conduct training sessions to deepen understanding of the platform.
• Mentor new hires to build their knowledge.
• Identify gaps in knowledge to improve documentation and training.
• Maintain and update the OneStream application used for course creation.
• Validate content for the Release Highlights eLearning course.

Content Validation

• Support documentation teams with practical use cases and technical accuracy.

Minimum Education & Experience

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or IT.
• 3+ years of OneStream experience in support roles.
• Technical proficiency with enterprise technologies.
• Experience in a fast-growing organization.
• Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues effectively.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Background in Accounting or Finance.
• OneStream Certified Architect or equivalent knowledge.
• Familiarity with SQL and VB.net.

Skills & Abilities

• Innovative problem-solving skills and curiosity.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Comfortable teaching groups and explaining complex topics.
• Knowledge of CPM/EPM applications like Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan, Tagetik.
• Experience with financial reporting, multi-dimensional modeling, and planning.
• Passion for learning new technologies.
