A leading company supporting the U.S. Navy is seeking a Systems Engineering Project Administrator to assist with project documentation, tracking, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering and project management, along with necessary security clearances. This role is critical in facilitating operational performance improvements and transparency in analytics at the U.S. 6th Fleet based out of Naples, Italy.

Competenze

  • 3+ years' of systems engineering and/or project management experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Active DoD IAT level II certification.

Are you Systems Engineering Project Administrator looking for a place where you can make a difference every day? Serco is the place for you! We have an exciting opportunity supporting the United States Navy and our CNIC N6 program at U.S. 6th Fleet based out of Naples, Italy.

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate process or improve transparency for analytics and decision making. The CNIC N6 Systems Engineer shall provide systems engineering support to NAVEUR, NAVAF, and 6th Fleet N6.

In this role, you will :

  • Provide support in the development, review and update of work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, performance work statements (PWS), cost estimates and other related documentation
  • Provide support in tracking project schedules, tracking and addressing risks and issues, reviewing of Installation Drawing Packages (IDPs)
  • Support project management meetings to include regularly attending management related meetings and developing briefs
  • Regularly brief IT project or program stake holders
  • Coordinate with facilities related project stakeholders to provide required project changes and recommend the government and industry best practice standards in order for related projects to accommodate current and anticipated NAVEUR / NAVAF / 6th Fleet N6 project requirements
  • Regularly brief designated Communications Officer (COMMO) on current and upcoming NAVEUR / NAVAF / 6th Fleet N6 IT projects when required

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • An active DoD IAT level II certification
  • A high-school diploma / GED and 3+ years' of systems engineering and / or project management experience
  • Ability to support in tracking project schedules, tracking / addressing risks & issues, and reviewing of Installation Drawing Packages (IDPs)
