Overview

Your Role

Manage construction projects for new sites / warehouses, and ensure that sites / warehouses are built according to given timeline, budget and requested specification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the efficiency of production plants and auxiliary systems, of all Brenntag Italia sites, coordinating and carrying out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities;
• It develops maintenance policies and plans interventions at the plants in relation to the useful life of the machine parts and production needs;
• Coordinates the maintenance work in order to respect the set times and ensures that the materials necessary for the work are available on the necessary dates;
• Intervenes directly in the most important jobs and provides instructions to employees for overcoming any difficulties;
• Manages the maintenance budget and contributes to the selection of maintenance providers;
• Ensures a punctual analysis of faults and guarantees the search for improvement solutions to eliminate them, also taking care of their realization;
• Prepares the formulation of technical and economic assessments to justify the maintenance to be performed;
• Search for improvement solutions, carrying out an evaluation of convenience among the alternatives identified;
• Verify that the safety and operating rules of the systems are respected in order to prevent possible accidents and / or breakdowns.

Experience

• Required experience in the role of Technical Engineer within multinational, multi-site companies, with exposure to the creation of new plants and revamping projects.
• Experience in chemical environments will be considered a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in technical engineering;
• Proven track record with chemical plants;

Education

Priority will be given to applications from professionals with a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
