The Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Technical Content Writer to join our Product Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or has up to a couple of years of professional experience. If you have a talent for writing clear, concise content and can explain complex technical concepts simply without sacrificing accuracy, this is the role for you. You will work in a dynamic environment with constant innovation, directly impacting our marketing efforts by producing high-quality content tailored to engineers and developers. This will support Mia-Platform’s growth as a leading product in the platform engineering space, fulfilling our promise of better development for anyone, anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce technical articles, papers, slide decks, product materials, documentation, and tutorials.
  • Simplify Complexity: Translate complex technical information into accessible language for our audience.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and reach.
  • Product Understanding: Gain in-depth knowledge of our B2B enterprise software and its market to communicate its value effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Marketing team to align content with marketing strategies.
  • Research: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all content is accurate, well-written, aligns with brand guidelines, and is delivered according to editorial plans.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Communications, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to produce content as a native English speaker.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts.
  • Passion for Technology: Genuine interest in technology and its societal impact.
  • Motivation: Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Time Management: Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with B2B enterprise software, developer tools, or previous technical writing roles.
  • Understanding of inbound content marketing principles.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (especially InDesign).
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems.
  • Experience working in Agile and startup environments.
