About the Team Hiring

Overview

The Technical Consultant role encompasses presales, post-sales, and support functions. Responsibilities include working with sales teams and clients to recommend solutions, demonstrating products, and developing training plans for successful implementation. Post-sales activities involve training at all levels, supporting project delivery, and working with sales to tailor training plans.

Key Responsibilities

Training Services:

  • Deliver Autodesk Authorized and Graitec IP Training Courses, either in-house or on-site.
  • Prepare and deliver bespoke training courses.
  • Conduct post-training customer reviews.
  • Assist with training administration tasks such as evaluations, courseware, and certificates.

Consulting Services:

  • Collaborate with sales and clients to develop implementation plans and facilitate technology adoption.
  • Implement Autodesk, Graitec, or third-party software solutions.
  • Manage large projects from handover to completion.
  • Conduct pre-implementation workshops and project closeout meetings.
  • Provide high-level project consultancy and develop supporting documentation.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Advise clients on software choices and system specifications.
  • Demonstrate BIM software solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Present at customer meetings and events.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise during negotiations.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Assist clients with technical issues related to software implementation and use.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve client issues.
  • Provide on-the-job consultancy services.

General Duties:

  • Research and advise on new product opportunities.
  • Support business development and marketing efforts.
  • Provide feedback to R&D on product improvements.

Key Success Indicators:

  • Work effectively with sales to increase awareness and win new business.
  • Maintain customer relationships for ongoing business.
  • Assist in webinars and marketing activities.
  • Accurately document support cases and contribute to our global community.
  • Collaborate with management to improve processes and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience with Autodesk Revit (Architecture or Structure).
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows.
  • Background in Architecture, Technical Architecture, or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in project environments using Revit extensively.
  • Nice to have: experience in training, consulting, or technical support roles.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Interest in BIM trends and Autodesk solutions.
  • Full driving license required for travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and written communication.
  • Fluent English required; additional German or French skills are highly valued.
