Position: Category Buyer Conto Lavoro

Our client is a well-established metalworking company in the automotive sector, with multiple plants in Maniago, part of a major multinational industrial group. We are seeking to permanently hire a resource within the purchasing department to effectively manage supplier relationships for outsourced processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Define aspects related to commercial relationships, pricing, quality, and services of the assigned product categories, maintaining constant interaction with suppliers and internal departments;
2. Research and select suitable suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, agree on purchase prices, and negotiate supply contract terms;
3. Monitor suppliers based on key KPIs such as economic aspects, quality, and on-time delivery;
4. Coordinate with Technical and Quality Departments for evaluating and approving technical modifications and proposing process or material changes suggested by suppliers;
5. Support logistics to ensure supply chain continuity;
6. Visit suppliers to strengthen relationships and better understand their potential, aligning it with company needs.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a high school diploma or technical degree;
• Has intermediate knowledge of mechanical processing, technical drawings, machinery, and processing cycles;
• Capable of assessing the suitability of processing cycles proposed by suppliers, considering machinery, quality standards, and estimated times;
• Can negotiate purchase conditions within their scope of expertise;
• Preferred: knowledge of raw material market indices, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, SAP, and proficiency in English.

• Work schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday;
• Salary: Commensurate with experience;
• Contract: Permanent employment;
