    • A new role has arisen within the Pre Sales organisation for a Southern Europe Pre Sales Technical Architect.

      The Pre Sales organisation provides technical and bid management support to the Sales teams within the Southern and Eastern Europe region enabling the delivery of compelling and winning proposals and solutions. This team provides support the full range of solutions and technologies including :

      Opportunities for Motorola’s traditional core radio products and services (e.g. DIMETRA, ASTRO, MOTOTRBO).

      Opportunities with complex systems integration requirements often requiring significant 3rd party content

      Opportunities for new Motorola products and solutions (e.g. HF comms, PS-LTE, WAVE, Body Worn Cameras, Fixed Video)

    • We are looking for a Pre Sales Technical Architect with a proved track-record on the following competencies :
    • Engage with customers to fully understand problems and requirements, demonstrating deep knowledge of the customer’s problem space and solutions.
    • Requirements analysis of complex customer problems to determine compelling technology and service offerings.
    • Design of technology and service-based solutions, including generation of high-level designs, bill-of-materials, their documentation and management of the review process of these designs.
    • Presenting solution designs to potential customers and talking knowledgably about solution design and implementation including both theory and practical implementation experiences.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MOI, MOD, Civil Protection and other national agencies)
    • Ability to arrange demonstrations of Motorola products and solutions
    • Supporting the procurement organisation to obtain and evaluate quotations from equipment vendors.
    • Lead all technical sales activities related to assigned sales opportunities.
    • Work closely with the entire bid team to ensure overall customer objectives and strategy is maintained.
    • Basic Requirements
    • A University Bachelor’s degree or similar (preferably in computer science, communications, software engineering or a similar field).
    • 3+ years working in a Pre Sales technical role, including tender answering.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken (Italian and English).
    • Ability to initiate and build solid working relationships and to be self-motivated, results-oriented and operate with mínimal supervision
    • Motorola Solutions product portfolio experience and / or relevant experience in key competitor offerings is highly desirable
    • Experience in the following domains is highly desirable :
    • Land Mobile Radio technologies (TETRA, APCO25, DMR)
    • IP communications and MW links
    • Voice / AVL Dispatching systems
    • Public Land Mobile Network systems and technologies (3GPP : 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G)
    • Fixed and mobile video solutions
    • HF Radio communication
    • Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic / capacity modelling and antenna systems is highly desirable
